DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN SCREWS! Due to the painting nature, the screws may lose their paint if over-tightened. Even the big box store screws will face the same issue as white screws can only be painted instead of electroplated due to the manufacturing process. Make sure the screws fit well before tightening them and handle them with care (again, to avoid damaging the paint while screwing). You may use a piece of tape, soft cloth, or even just tissue paper to cover the tip of the screwdriver, and then tighten the screws gently. However, if you do need extra screws, please click our storefront page (Hennebery Hardware) and find the exact matching screws. For the toggle switch and duplex outlet cover wall plates, we use the 3/4″ long screws. For the rocker switch/GFCI receptacle wall plates, we use the 3/8″ long screws.
